Atlantis (wrestler)
Atlantis (born September 28, 1962) is a Mexican ''Lucha libre, luchador wrestling mask, enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestling, professional wrestler), working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) where he performs as a ''técnico'' (Face (professional wrestling), face or "good guy" character) and is one of the longest-tenured ''luchadores'' in CMLL history. Atlantis was trained by Diablo Velasco, made his in-ring debut in 1983 and has always wrestled under the ring name Atlantis, named after the sunken city of Atlantis. Atlantis has held a large number of professional wrestling championships over the years, both in Mexico and in Japan, both individually and as a tag team. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in ''lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", "baddie", "evil-doer", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the Face (professional wrestling), faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Mexican National Tag Team Championship
The Mexican National Tag Team Championship ''()'' is a national Mexican professional wrestling championship controlled by the (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission) and competed for by two-man tag teams. The championship was created in 1957, promoted regularly until 2003, and intermittently until 2011 when the last known defense took place. (EMLL) had control of the championship from its creation until 1992, at which point it was transferred to AAA. Pablo Fuentes Reyna (December 31, 1956 – January 12, 2012) was a Mexican luchador (Spanish for professional wrestler) best known under the ring name MS-1 (MS Uno). As MS-1, Fuentes was a founding member of the wrestling group called '' Los Infernales'' (the Infernals) and achieved most of his success as part of the group, including being the first Mexican National Trios Champions and the first CMLL World Trios Champions. Aristóteles Radamés Coccó Flores (May 13, 1954 – April 12, 2012) was a Mexican professional wrestler, or luchador, best known for working under the ring name Masakre (Spanish for Massacre) in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Los Infernales
''Los Infernales'' (Spanish for "the Infernals") is a Mexican professional wrestling group, called a stable. The stable was created in 1984 and consisted of El Satánico, MS-1 and Espectro Jr. A later version where Pirata Morgan replaced Espectro Jr. is considered the "classic" ''Infernales'' team that helped popularize the "Trios" team concept in ''lucha libre''. MS-1, Satánico and Pirata Morgan were both the first Mexican National Trios Champions and the first CMLL World Trios Champions. Ángel Azteca
Juan Manuel Zúñiga (June 24, 1963 – March 18, 2007) was a Mexican professional wrestler, or '' Luchador'' as they are called in Spanish, best known for working under the ring name Ángel Azteca (Aztec Angel) since the late 1980s. Zúñiga is not related to wrestlers " Ángel Azteca, Jr." and "Ángel Azteca II", instead they paid Zúñiga to use the name and image. Jerry Estrada (full name, Gerardo Hernández Estrada; born January 10, 1958, Monclova, Coahuila) is a semi-retired Mexican ''luchador'' (professional wrestler). For most of his career, he has portrayed a ''rudo'' (heel, those that portray the "bad guys") character, nicknamed "El Puma". A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling. "Promotion" also describes a role which entails management, advertising and logistics of running a wrestling event.
