Leyenda De Plata
The ''Leyenda de Plata'' ( Spanish for "the Silver Legend") is an annual lucha libre tournament held by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since 1998. The tournament honors El Santo, ''Enmáscarado de Plata'' (the Silver mask) and has been held every year since 1998 except for 2003 when El Hijo del Santo (El Santo's son) did not work for CMLL. CMLL still holds the annual tournament despite the fact that El Hijo del Santo no longer works for CMLL. It is the most prestigious of all of CMLL's annual tournaments. The original format of the tournament was the ''Torneo cibernetico'' to qualify for a semi-final. The winner of the semi-final would face the winner of the previous year's tournament in the finals. Since 2005 CMLL would hold two cibernetico matches and then the winner of each would meet in the semi-finals. In 2011, the tournament was modified to eliminate the final stage. The winner is given a plaque with a solid silver ''El S ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Leyenda De Plata (2004)
''Asturias'' (''Leyenda''), named simply ''Prelude'' by its composer, is a musical work by the Spanish composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz (1860–1909). The piece, which lasts around six minutes in performance, was originally written for the piano and set in the key of G minor. It was first published in Barcelona, by Juan Bta. Pujol & Co., in 1892 as the prelude of a three- movement set entitled ''Chants d'Espagne''. The name ''Asturias (Leyenda)'' was given to it posthumously by the German publisher Hofmeister, who included it in the 1911 "complete version" of the '' Suite española'', although Albéniz never intended the piece for this suite. Despite the new name, this music is not considered suggestive of the folk music of the northern Spanish region of Asturias, but rather of Andalusian flamenco traditionsEverything You Ever Wanted To Know About...
