Ferjan was born in
Ljubljana, Slovenia. He was a five-time
Slovenian Individual Speedway Championship
The Slovenian Individual Speedway Championship is a Motorcycle speedway championship held each year to determine the Slovenian national champion. It was first staged in 1978.

On 22 May 2011 Ferjan was found dead in his van at the apartment block where he lived in
