Fédération Internationale De Motocyclisme
The International Motorcycling Federation (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) or (FIM) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 123 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six continental unions. There are seven motorcycle-racing disciplines that FIM covers, encompassing 82 world championships as well as hundreds of secondary championships: enduro, Motorcycle trials, trial, Road racing, circuit racing, motocross and supermoto, Motorcycle racing#Cross-country rally, cross-country, Electric bicycle, e-bike, and track racing. Troy Batchelor
Troy Matthew Batchelor (born 29 August 1987) is an Australian speedway rider. Career Australia Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Troy Batchelor enjoyed his first success when he won the 2001 Queensland and New South Wales Under-16 championships and followed this up by winning the 2003 Australian Under-16 Championship at the Bibra Lake Speedway in Perth. After graduating to the senior ranks following his 16th birthday, Batchelor won the Queensland State Championship in 2007 before he moved to Adelaide in South Australia where he has won the South Australian Championship at the Gillman Speedway six times (2008-2011, 2013, 2017). Krzysztof Cegielski
Krzysztof Cegielski (born 3 September 1979 in Poland) is a former Polish speedway rider who was a permanent Speedway Grand Prix rider in 2002 and 2003 season. He earned five international caps for the Poland speedway team. Career Cegielski began racing for Gorzów during the 1996 Polish speedway season. He continued to ride for them before switching to Wybrzeże Gdańsk in 2001. It was also in 2001 that he rode for Poole Pirates in the British speedway leagues. The following season in 2002, he moved to Start Gniezno and Eastbourne Eagles respectively. In 2003, he was involved in an on-track crash in a Swedish League. The resulting spinal cord injury left him partially paralysed, and ended his racing career. He has remained close to the speedway world, acting as a speedway manager and expert. Armando Castagna
Armando Castagna (born 22 September 1963) is a former Italian international motorcycle speedway rider. He was a member of the Italy national team and has represented them in several World Team Cup competitions. He is a record 12 times Italian Champion. Career Castagna was born in Arzignano and rode in the United Kingdom for the Ipswich Witches and Oxford Cheetahs but he spent the majority of his career with the Reading Racers where he won the British League title twice and was part of the Reading team that won the Fours championship in 1993. He rode in the first of his five world finals in 1985. He has ridden in the Speedway Grand Prix series and has reached five Speedway World Championship finals. Mattia Carpanese
Mattia Carpanese born (5 November 1985 in Padova, Italy) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Italy. He is six times National champion of Italy. Career Carpanese rode in the United Kingdom for the Workington Comets during the 2007 Premier League, and for the Birmingham Brummies in 2008. Carpanese finished runner-up in the Italian Championship in 2005. He was selected as a wild card for the 2006 and 2007 Italian Speedway Grand Prix. He quit the Comets after a string of injuries on 30 August 2007. On 20 April 2008 it was announced that Carpanese had been signed by Birmingham Brummies as a short term replacement for injured rider James Birkinshaw but was released after twenty eight days. Jason Bunyan
Jason Michael Bunyan (born 9 March 1979 in Milton Keynes) is a former England under-21 international motorcycle speedway rider from England. He is a ten times champion of New Zealand. Racing career He won the New Zealand Championship from 2004 to 2006, 2008 to 2010, 2012 to 2014 and 2016. The ten wins broke the previous record of nine wins held by Larry Ross. Bunyan began his British leagues career when signing for Poole Pirates for the 1995 Premier League speedway season. After a season with Oxford Cheetahs he moved to join the Isle of Wight Islanders from 1997 to 1998. He spent three seasons with Ipswich Witches from 1999 to 2001 and two seasons with Coventry from 2003 to 2004 before turning his attention to New Zealand after every British season. Krzysztof Buczkowski (born 30 April 1986 in Grudziądz, Poland) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He earned one international cap for the Poland speedway team. Career Buczkowski has ridden for the Polish national junior team. He started speedway in 2002 with GKM Grudziądz and rode for them until the end of 2004. In 2005, he joined Polonia Bydgoszcz until the end of 2009, when he returned to Grudziądz. After a third stint with the club from 2013 to 2020, he joined KM Cross Lublin and then Falubaz Zielona Góra. Bohumil Brhel
Bohumil Brhel (born 10 June 1965) is a Czech former motorcycle speedway rider. He earned 10 international caps for the Czechoslovakia national speedway team and 15 caps for the Czech Republic national speedway team. Career Brhel started racing in the British leagues during the 1990 British League season, when riding for the King's Lynn Stars. He spent six season with them from 1990 to 1995. In 1996, he joined the Oxford Cheetahs from King's Lynn and was part of the four that won the Premier League Four-Team Championship, which was held on 4 August 1996, at the East of England Arena. He returned to King's Lynn the following season and rode with them until the end of the 1999 season. Brhel won the 2001 Individual European Champion title. Craig Vincent Boyce (born 2 August 1967 in Sydney, Australia) is a former motorcycle speedway rider who primarily rode for the Poole Pirates in the British Elite League (speedway), Elite League. After retiring from riding, Boyce became manager of the Australia speedway team, Australian national team until 2012. Boyce is a three-time Australian Individual Speedway Championship, Australian Solo Champion. Maksims Bogdanovs (born 2 January 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Latvia. Career Bogdanovs participated in Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia competitions in 2007 and 2008. Bogdanovs was part of the Lokomotiv Daugavpils team that first competed in the Polish leagues in 2005. He is twice become a champion of Latvia, winning the Latvian Individual Speedway Championship in 2012 and 2017. Bogdanovs returned to race in the Speedway Grand Prix ten years after his last appearance by competing in the 2017 Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia, where he score eight points. Lasse Bjerre Jensen (born 31 October 1993) is a speedway rider who won the 2010 Under-21 World Cup with the Denmark team. Biography Bjerre was born in Esbjerg, Denmark in 1993. His brother, Kenneth (born 1984), is also a speedway rider. They have two sisters Janni and Lotte. Their parents are Ivan and Vibeke.
