. The critic Jeong Deok-hyeon attributed the success of Lee Woo-jung's dramas to her experience of attempting various things in variety shows. With the boundaries between variety shows, dramas, documentaries, and current affairs programs becoming blurred, the grammar of dramas has also changed significantly. In the case of the Reply series, for example, they first decide on a theme for each episode and multiple writers gather to generate episodes. They then select the best ones from the pool, which allows them to break free from the constraints of the traditional "this is how a drama should be" framework.
