Baek Il-seob (; born June 10, 1944) is a South Korean film and television actor. In recent years he appeared in the family dramas '' Mom's Dead Upset'', '' My Too Perfect Sons'' and '' Ojakgyo Brothers''. In 2007 Baek landed in the news after he made remarks at a GNP rally denouncing candidate Lee Hoi-chang's late entry into the presidential race. Yeosu
Yeosu, formerly romanized as Yosu, is a coastal city located on the southern shore of South Korea. With a population of 268,823, Yeosu is the second largest city in South Jeolla Province. In 1998, the Old Yeosu City, Yeocheon City and Yeocheon County were merged and the current city, Yeosu, was formed. ''The Road to Sampo'' () is a 1975 South Korean film starring Baek Il-seob, Kim Jin-kyu and Mun Suk. The final and posthumous work of director Lee Man-hee, it is adapted from an original short story of the same name by Hwang Sok-yong. Lee collapsed during the editing phase of the film. The basic premise of the film comes from the blood type personality theory, which claims that a person's blood type can determine their personality traits. The heroine is type A (conservative and introverted) while her love interest is type B (passionate and irresponsible).
