In late May 2023, Arsenkina announced her retirement from curling, citing Russia's ongoing ban from WCF international competitions as one of the deciding factors.


Personal life

Arsenkina was previously a full-time curler. She started her sports career as a

, but when she was twelve, a leg injury forced her to give up the sport. At that point, she took up curling. She graduated from the
