According to the 2011 census of India, Campbell Bay has 1608 households. The effective literacy rate (i.e. the literacy rate of population excluding children aged 6 and below) is 86.28%.


National park

Campbell Bay National Park is a part of Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve. This national park is spread over 426 km2 in the northern part of Great Nicobar. The park reserve's flora includes tropical evergreen forest, tree fern, and orchids and fauna includes
