''AE_LIVE'' was first released abruptly to members of the Autechre mailing list, who were given an invite-only opportunity to purchase the recordings. On 1 November 2015, AE_STORE, Autechre's Bleep.com substore, released the first four live sets to the public. On 8 December 2015, the AE_STORE was updated to include five more recordings.
