''Evolve'' is a 2015 first-person shooter video game developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K (company), 2K. Announced in January 2014, the game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2015. ''Evolve'' uses an asymmetrical multiplayer structure, where five players—four playing as hunters and one as the monster—battle against each other on an industrialized alien planet called Shear. The hunters' gameplay is based on the first-person shooter design, while the monsters are controlled from a third-person perspective. The hunters' goal is to eliminate the monster, while the monster's goal is to consume wildlife and evolve to make themselves stronger before either eliminating the hunters, or successfully destroying the objective. Evolve (stylized all caps) was an United States of America, American professional wrestling promotion founded in 2010 by former Ring of Honor Professional wrestling terms#B, booker and Dragon Gate USA vice president, Gabe Sapolsky. The company featured a roster of wrestlers from all over America, as well as Puroresu, several competitors from Japan. Evolution is the change in the heritable Phenotypic trait, characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. It occurs when evolutionary processes such as natural selection and genetic drift act on genetic variation, resulting in certain characteristics becoming more or less common within a population over successive generations. Devolution is the statutory delegation of powers from the central government of a sovereign state to govern at a subnational level, such as a regional or local level. It is a form of administrative decentralization. Devolved territories have the power to make legislation relevant to the area, thus granting them a higher level of autonomy.
