''The Encounter'' is an American 2011 Christian films, Christian film. The role of Jesus, in modern dress, appearing at a diner in modern-day America, is played by Bruce Marchiano who played Jesus in ''The Visual Bible: Matthew''. It is the first installment of the franchise ''The Encounter''. Plot ''The Encounter'' follows 5 strangers living in California: Nick, an Atheism, atheist, former NFL player, and owner of a chain of burger restaurants; Hank and Catherine, whose marriage is falling apart; Melissa, a Christians, Christian on the way to visit her boyfriend (who is an atheist), and Kayla, a Hitchhiking, hitchhiker escaping her Child abuse, abusive stepfather in Los Angeles. The Encounter (Twilight Zone)
"The Encounter" is episode 151 of the American television series ''The Twilight Zone''. First broadcast on May 1, 1964, its racial overtones caused it to be withheld from syndication in the U.S. until 2016. It is the only original episode pulled from syndication. Opening narration Plot Digging through his attic, an American World War II veteran named Fenton finds an old katana. A young Japanese American named Arthur Takamori comes in looking for work, on a tip from a neighbor. Fenton is gruff yet cordial, and invites Takamori to share a beer with him in his cluttered attic. Fenton makes a remark about the incongruity between his first name and his obvious ethnicity. Arthur takes offense at first. But when it becomes apparent that Fenton meant no harm, he admits that he changed his name from Taro. Vladimir Vladimirovich Nabokov ( ; 2 July 1977), also known by the pen name Vladimir Sirin (), was a Russian and American novelist, poet, translator, and entomologist. John Nicholson Ireland (13 August 187912 June 1962) was an English composer and teacher of music. The majority of his output consists of piano miniatures and of songs with piano.
