''Rebuild'' is a remix album by Scar Tissue, released on May 19, 1998 by 21st Circuitry. It contains four new compositions as well as remixes and live versions of tracks from '' Separator'' and '' TMOTD''. The picture on the album's front was designed by musician and sound engineer Nathan Moody, who illustrated covers for the band's previous 21st Circuitry releases. Reception ''Aiding & Abetting'' commended the music of ''Rebuld'' for possessing "a haunting quality, something that is aided by the spectacular use of silence." ''Sonic Boom'' praised Scar Tissue for their "talent for grinding percussion and dark electronics" and said of ''Rebuld'' that "there is not a bad track on this release" and "if there is a way to reinterpret music that isn't covered by this collection, I certainly don't know what it is." Verse (band)
Verse was an American hardcore punk band from Providence, Rhode Island. They released three full-length albums and an EP on Rivalry and Bridge 9 Records and conducted a number of full U.S. tours. The band broke up in 2009, but reformed in December 2011. Bassist Chris Berg played in Mountain Man, which features former members Patrick Murphy (Drums) and Jesse Menard (Guitar) of Last Lights and I Rise. "Rebuild" is a song written by Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Matt Thiessen of Relient K. The song was written in conjunction with the bands' 2007 Appetite for Construction Tour, featuring members from all three bands on tour, Switchfoot, Relient K, and Ruth. Thiessen sang second vocals, and Dustin Ruth of Ruth played harmonica. All proceeds from the song download will be donated to Habitat For Humanity. It was slated to surface on iTunes, but Relient K frontman Matt Thiessen said the two bands would release the single online for free, but with an option for donation for Habitat. "So I think we're gonna release it for free online and create a place where people can donate to Habitat," Thiessen said.
