''Lost Gate'' () is a Czech mystery series that premiered on Czech Television in September 2012. It is a sequel to the three-part series Ďáblova lest (2009). It was written by Arnošt Vašíček and directed by Jiří Strach. The pair of police investigators Petr Sumara and Lenka Šímová investigate a case of a serial killer in the environment of the Prague lodge of freemasons with the help of religionist Michal Runa (Ivan Trojan). Jiří Strach
Jiří Strach (born 29 September 1973) is a Czech film director and actor. He is considered one of the most talented and kindest Czech film directors of the 21st century. Among his most successful films are the fairy tales ''Angel of the Lord'' (as film director) and '' Lotrando a Zubejda'' (as actor). Life Jiří Strach was born on 29 September 1973 in Prague. He has an older brother. As a child, Strach got several roles in films. After graduating from high school, he decided to study acting direction at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). In 2006, he got married. Vojtěch (Czech pronunciation: ) or Vojtech is a, respectively, Czech and Slovak given name of Slavic origin. Martin Stropnický
Martin Stropnický (born 19 December 1956) is a Czech politician and diplomat who served as the minister of Foreign Affairs from December 2017 to June 2018, and was previously minister of Defence from 2014 to 2017. From 2 January 1998 to 22 July 1998 he also served as the minister of Culture. Before entering politics, he was an actor, songwriter, author and director. Jiří Langmajer (born 3 June 1966) is a Czech theatre, television, and film actor. Biography Jiří Langmajer was born in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia. He studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory from 1981 to 1987. While still a student, he was cast by director Karel Smyczek in the 1987 film '' Why?'' A year later, he appeared in the miniseries '' Třetí patro'' by the same director. František Němec (born 9 August 1943) is a Czech actor, dubber, and theater pedagogue. Education and career Němec studied acting at DAMU from 1960 to 1964 and has been teaching there since 1982.
