Zokela
Zokela is a musical group from the Central African Republic, one of the most influential in the country. The group are responsible for a style of African music of the same name which emerged in the early 1980s. Bangui
Bangui (; or Bangî in Sango language, Sango, formerly written Bangi in English) is the Capital (political), capital and List of cities in the Central African Republic, largest city of the Central African Republic. It was established as a French Congo, French outpost in 1889 and named after its location on the northern bank of the Ubangi River (); the Ubangi itself was named from the Bobangi language, Bobangi word for the "rapids" located beside the settlement, which marked the end of navigable water north from Brazzaville. Lobaye is one of the 20 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Mbaïki. In 2024, official estimates suggest the population reached 361,289 inhabitants.
