Zlatnite Mostove
Zlatnite Mostove (, ‘Golden Bridges’) is the largest stone river on Vitosha Mountain, Bulgaria. The feature is situated in the valley of Vladayska River, extending 2.2 km, and up to 150 m wide, with several ‘tributary’ stone rivers. The stone river is ‘descending’ from elevation 1800 m above sea level in Boeritsa Chalet area to 1410 m at Zlatnite Mostove site. The lower extremity of the stone river is known as Zlatnite Mostove site, a popular tourist destination accessible from Sofia by road. Vitosha Nature Park website: Navigable map. Sofia Province
Sofia Province () is a province (''oblast'') of Bulgaria. The province does not include Sofia in its territories, but Sofia remains the seat of its administration. Vitosha
Vitosha ( ), the ancient ''Scomius'' or ''Scombrus'', is a mountain massif, on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Vitosha is one of the symbols of Sofia and the closest site for hiking, alpinism and skiing. Convenient bus lines and rope ways render the mountain easily accessible. Vladayska River
The Vladayska reka () is a 37 km-long river in western Bulgaria, a left tributary of the Perlovska, itself a left tributary of the Iskar of the Danube drainage. Geography The river takes its source at an altitude of 2,245 m from the northwestern slopes of Cherni Vrah (2,290 m), the highest summit of the Vitosha mountain range. It flows northwest through the Torfeno Branishte nature reserve, then submerges beneath the stone run of Zlatnite Mostove, and descends to the village of Vladaya in a deep, steep and forested valley.
