Zdenko Jurčević
Zdenko Jurčević (born December 2, 1985) is a former Croatian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Early career Jurčević received his football training at the youth level with his local club HNK Tomislav and later with Hajduk Split. He would venture abroad to play professionally career with Habenhauser FV of the Bremen-Liga in 2007. He played the remainder of the 2007-08 season at the Austrian regional level with 1. Simmeringer SC. After several seasons abroad, he began playing in the Croatian Treća HNL with NK Konavljanin in 2010. In 2011, he returned to the Bosnian circuit to sign with NK Vitez. Following his brief stint wit Vitez, he returned to his former club HNK Tomislav but failed to report to training camp. Instead, Jurčević landed a contract with Čapljina during the 2013 winter transfer market. In his debut season with Čapljina, he played in 12 matches and recorded 8 goals. Tomislavgrad (), also known by its former name Duvno (), is a town and municipality located in Canton 10 of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It mainly covers an area of the historical and geographical region of Tropolje. As of 2013, it has a population of 33,032 inhabitants. In the Roman times it was known as Delminium. During the middle ages when it was part of Croatia and Bosnia, the town was known as Županjac, a name that remained until 1928, when it was changed to Tomislavgrad. 2016 Canadian Soccer League Season
The 2016 Canadian Soccer League season (known as the Givova Canadian Soccer League for sponsorship reasons) was the 19th season under the Canadian Soccer League name. The first match of the season was played on May 21, 2016, and ended on October 30, 2016. The season concluded with Serbian White Eagles claiming their second CSL Championship by defeating expansion franchise Hamilton City SC by a score of 2-1. Serbian White Eagles Football Club ( sr, Фудбалски клуб Српски бели орлови / ''Fudbalski klub Srpski beli orlovi'') is a Canadian soccer team. The team is a member of the Canadian Soccer League, an unsanctioned soccer league. The team's home kit is all white commemorating the white double-headed eagle which appears on the Serbian flag while the away colours are red-blue-white commemorating the tricolour of the Serbian flag. York Region Shooters is a Canadian soccer team, that plays in the Canadian Soccer League. The Shooters played their home games at the St. Joan of Arc Turf Field in the City of Vaughan, Ontario. The team's colours were blue and white, mirroring those of the Italy national football team and reflecting the cultural heritage of the club. The club had also competed under various different names as Vaughan Sun Devils, Vaughan Shooters, Italia Shooters, and finally as York Region Shooters. Niagara United FC is a Canadian association football, soccer team founded in 1973. The club is a former member of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL), where it fielded a professional team from 2011-2015, and now operates youth teams in the Niagara Soccer League.
