Masvingo Province
Masvingo, previously named Victoria, is a province in southeastern Zimbabwe. It has a population of 1.638 million as of the 2022 census, ranking fifth out of Zimbabwe's ten provinces. Masvingo
Masvingo, known as Fort Victoria during the colonial period, is a city in southeastern Zimbabwe and the capital of Masvingo Province. The city lies close to Great Zimbabwe, the national monument from which the country takes its name and close to Lake Mutirikwi, its recreational park, the Kyle dam and the Kyle National Reserve that is home to a range of animal species. It is mostly populated by the Karanga people who form the biggest branch of the various Shona tribes in Zimbabwe. Ndanga
Ndanga is a sub-district in Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe and is located 60 km south-east of Masvingo. The area is easily accessible from the city of Masvingo, as it is lies roughly midway on a highway linking the province's two main cities of Masvingo and Chiredzi. Although the greater Ndanga district is vast, extending as far south as Jerera, it is this original Ndanga area that is home to the district's largest hospital. Not only is Ndanga District Hospital a major hospital in its district, it is also the second major hospital in the whole province.
