Yorkshire Tea is a black tea Tea blending and additives, blend produced by the Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, Bettys & Taylors Group since 1977. It became the best-selling tea brand in Britain in 2019. Charles Edward Taylor founded CE Taylor & Co. in 1886, later shortened to "Taylors". The company was purchased by 'Betty's Tea Rooms' in 1962, which today forms the Bettys & Taylors Group. Taylors of Harrogate is still based in Harrogate, Yorkshire, in the first 'Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate#Tea rooms, Betty's' tea room. The group is still owned by the family of Bettys' founder, Fredrick Belmont, and is currently chaired by Lesley Wild. Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate is a family-owned company based in Yorkshire, England. Bettys Café Tea in the United Kingdom#Tea rooms, tea rooms serve traditional meals with influences from both Switzerland and Yorkshire. Taylors of Harrogate was founded in 1886 as a family business that specialised in blending tea and coffee. The brand is best known for Yorkshire Tea. Michael Parkinson
Sir Michael Parkinson (28 March 1935 – 16 August 2023) was an English television presenter, broadcaster, journalist and author. He presented his television talk show '' Parkinson'' from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and abroad. Tetley is an English beverage manufacturer founded in 1837 in Yorkshire. It is the largest company of tea in the United Kingdom and Canada, and the second-largest in the United States by volume.
