Yoichi Station
is a railway station on the Hakodate Main Line in Yoichi, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido). The station is numbered "S18". Lines Yoichi Station is served by the Hakodate Main Line and is 232.6 km from the start of the line at . When the Hokkaido Shinkansen opens in the spring of 2031, the Hakodate Main Line will be truncated and the section of track between Oshamambe and Otaru will be abolished. In March 2022, after a consultation period, 7 towns along the Hakodate Maine Line between Otaru and Yoichi approved a conversion to a new bus service and a closure of the Hakodate Main Line past Otaru in conjunction with the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen in the Spring of 2031. Yoichi Hatta
was a Japanese engineer, known for his contributions in hydraulic engineering in the Taiwan under Japanese rule, Japanese-ruled Taiwan. Hatta was born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa. After graduating from Tokyo Imperial University in 1910, he joined the Seat of Governor-General of Taiwan and served as a technician of the government. He was the designer of Chianan Canal and Wusanto Reservoir. He was killed on board the transport ship Taiyō Maru, when it was torpedoed and sunk on May 8, 1942 by US submarine USS Grenadier (SS-210), ''Grenadier''. In contemporary Taiwan, he is honored as a deity for his contributions to irrigation. is a Japanese actor. Hayashi is a former Kabuki actor, and appeared in many jidaigeki television dramas. Early life Born into a large and renowned Kabuki acting family from the Kansai region (more precisely Osaka and Kyoto), his father was Toshio Hayashi, a well-known kabuki actor and film actor (known for starring in films in the jidaigeki genre) and his mother was Reiko Kitami, a film actress with an extensive list of roles in cinema and in different genres. He is also the great-grandson of Nakamura Ganjirō I and the great-great-grandson of Nakamura Kanjaku III, two of the most important Kabuki actors of the Meiji era. The Kaya identity is a mathematical identity stating that the total emission level of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide can be expressed as the product of four factors: human population, GDP per capita, energy intensity (per unit of GDP), and carbon intensity (emissions per unit of energy consumed). It is a concrete form of the more general I = PAT equation relating factors that determine the level of human impact on climate. Nasu No Yoichi
(c. 1169 – c. 1232) was a ''samurai'' who fought alongside the Minamoto clan in the Genpei War. He is particularly famous for his actions at the Battle of Yashima in 1185. According to the '' Heike Monogatari'', the enemy Taira placed a fan atop a pole on one of their ships, daring the Minamoto warriors to shoot it off. Sitting atop his mount in the waves, his target atop the ship rocking as well, Nasu nevertheless shot it down with only one shot. After the Genpei War, he was made ''shugo'' of Tottori Castle, but he lost this position to Kajiwara Kagetoki after being defeated in a hunting competition. He left Echigo Province and—following the death of Minamoto no Yoritomo—Nasu became a Buddhist monk in the Jōdo Shinshū sect.
