Yoichi Hayashi
is a Japanese actor. Hayashi is a former Kabuki actor, and appeared in many jidaigeki television dramas. Early life Born into a large and renowned Kabuki acting family from the Kansai region (more precisely Osaka and Kyoto), his father was Toshio Hayashi, a well-known kabuki actor and film actor (known for starring in films in the jidaigeki genre) and his mother was Reiko Kitami, a film actress with an extensive list of roles in cinema and in different genres. He is also the great-grandson of Nakamura Ganjirō I and the great-great-grandson of Nakamura Kanjaku III, two of the most important Kabuki actors of the Meiji era. Due to this family relationship, he is related to some of the most important Kabuki actors of the Showa and Heisei eras, such as Nakamura Ganjirō II, Sakata Tōjūrō IV, Nakamura Ganjirō IV, and Nakamura Senjaku III. Unmeitōge
is a Japanese ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in prime-time in 1974. It is based on Renzaburō Shibata's novel of the same title. The lead star is Masakazu Tamura. Plot Akizuki Rokurōta was born as a child of Tokugawa Ieyasu, but since he is a twin with Tokugawa Iemitsu he is not allowed an official place within the Tokugawa family. Sent away as an adopted son, he continues his wandering journey. Kazuo Hasegawa
, formerly known by his stage names and , was a Japanese film and stage actor. He appeared in over 300 films from 1927 to 1963. Career Born to a sake brewing family in Kyoto, he first appeared on stage at age five in a theater run by his family as a side business. In 1918, he became a student of Nakamura Ganjirō I and performed kabuki in the Kansai region. He joined the Shochiku studio in 1927 and made his film debut in ''Chigo no kenpō'' under the name Chōjirō Hayashi. His good looks and graceful fighting style made him a major jidaigeki star, and he appeared in more than 120 films for Shochiku in 11 years, with the best works being directed by Teinosuke Kinugasa. Shimazu Nariakira
was a Japanese feudal lord (''daimyō'') of the Edo period, the 28th in the line of Shimazu clan lords of Satsuma Domain. He was renowned as an intelligent and wise lord, and was greatly interested in Western learning and technology. He was enshrined after death as the Shinto kami in May 1863. Asano Nagamasa
was the brother-in-law of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and one of his chief advisors.
