Yelena Shalygina
Yelena Yevgenyevna Shalygina (born 15 December 1986 in Shymkent) is a Kazakh wrestler. She competed in the 63 kg weight class at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, she lost to Alena Kartashova in the last 16, but because Kartashova reached the final, Shalygina was able to compete in the repechage where she beat Elina Vaseva and then Lise Golliot-Legrand to win her bronze medal. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she lost to Yuliya Ostapchuk in the first round. She won the gold medal in the 65 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey. She competed in the 65 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. Freestyle wrestling is a style of wrestling. It is one of two styles of wrestling contested in the Olympic Games, along with Greco-Roman wrestling, Greco-Roman. scholastic wrestling, High school wrestling and men's collegiate wrestling in the United States are conducted under different rules and termed scholastic wrestling, scholastic and collegiate wrestling. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. Wrestling At The 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games
Wrestling at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games were held in Konya, Turkey from 10 to 13 August 2022. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) has the right to participate with a maximum of one wrestler per weight category in all styles (Greco-Roman, women and freestyle). The Games were originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021. In May 2020, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), who are responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games, postponed the games as the 2020 Summer Olympics were postponed to July and August 2021, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Islamic Solidarity Games
The Islamic Solidarity Games () is a multinational, multi-sport event. Managed jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), the Games involve elite athletes of the OIC competing in a variety of sports. The most recent edition was held in Konya, Turkey, in 2022. The next edition will take place in 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Background The Solidarity Games were established to strengthen Islamic camaraderie and reinforce the values of Islam, primarily to the youth. The ISSF strives to improve Islamic solidarity, promote Islamic identity in sports and help reduce discrimination toward Muslims. There are currently 57 members of the OIC.
