Ye Yingchun
Ye Yingchun (; born January 23, 1970) is a Chinese news anchor and journalist for China's state-run broadcaster China Central Television. She is known for hosting various programs on CCTV-4, the official Chinese-language channel targeting overseas viewers. In August 2014, Hong Kong-based Phoenix Television reported that Ye had been detained for investigation in connection with the Zhou Yongkang case. Career Ye Yingchun was born in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province in 1970. She attended the Beijing Broadcasting Institute (now Communications University of China). In 1991, she became a TV host on the local television station in Jingdezhen. In 1993 she became an anchor on the Jiangxi provincial version of '' Xinwen Lianbo''. Jingdezhen is a prefecture-level city, in northeastern Jiangxi province, with a total population of 1,669,057 (2018), bordering Anhui to the north. Rui Chenggang (; born September 24, 1977) was a Chinese news anchor and journalist for China's state-run broadcaster China Central Television. He was well known for his "unabashedly nationalistic" style when hosting economy and finance related shows with wide viewership on the channel CCTV-2. He was detained for investigation by Chinese prosecution organs in July 2014, accused of corruption. Career Rui was born in Hefei, Anhui in 1977. He went to No. 8 Middle School in Hefei, and was the president of the student council. In 1995 during ''Gaokao'' exams, Rui ranked first among social science and humanities students in his city, and ranked fourth in his province.
