Yader Cardoza (born February 22, 1989) is a Nicaraguan professional boxer who challenged for the WBC light flyweight title in 2013. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. Isla De Ometepe
Ometepe is an island formed by two volcanoes rising out of Lake Nicaragua in the Republic of Nicaragua. Its name derives from the Nahuatl words ''ome'' (two) and ''tepetl'' (mountain), meaning "two mountains". It is the largest island in Lake Nicaragua. Carazo Department
Carazo () is a department in Nicaragua. It covers an area of 1,081 km2 and has a population of 198,395 (2021 estimate). The capital is Jinotepe. Geography Much of the department consists of a large plain sloping gently down towards the Pacific Ocean. The main urban centres are Diriamba and Jinotepe in the interior. The adjoining departments are Managua, Masaya, Granada and Rivas. The climate is tropical with the temperature varying between 28 and 32 °C (82 and 90 °F). The hottest months are April and May.
