Xiaoguan Subdistrict
Xiaoguan Subdistrict () is a subdistrict on the northwest of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Taiyanggong Township to the East, Heping Street Subdistrict to the south, Yayuncun Subdistrict Yayuncun Subdistrict (), or Asian Games Village Subdistrict, is the site of the 1990 Asian Games, a major residential area and a subdistrict of the Chaoyang District of Beijing. Direct-controlled Municipality
A direct-controlled municipality is the highest level classification for cities used by unitary states, with status equal to that of the provinces in the respective countries. A direct-controlled municipality is similar to, but not the same as, a federal district, a common designation in various countries for a municipality that is not part of any state, and which usually hosts some governmental functions. Usually direct-controlled municipality are under central government control with limited power. Many countries have adopted this system with some different variations. Chaoyang District, Beijing
Chaoyang District () is a core district of Beijing. It borders the districts of Shunyi to the northeast, Tongzhou to the east and southeast, Daxing to the south, Fengtai to the southwest, Dongcheng, Xicheng and Haidian to the west, and Changping to the northwest. Chaoyang is home to the majority of Beijing's many foreign embassies, the well-known Sanlitun bar street, as well as Beijing's growing central business district. Heping Street Subdistrict () is a subdistrict on the northwestern side of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. As of 2020, it has a total population of 81,180. It was named after Heping () Street that was located within it.
