Wolfe (provincial Electoral District)
Wolfe was a former provincial electoral district in the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada. It was created for the 1890 Quebec general election, 1890 election from part of Richmond-Wolfe (provincial electoral district), Richmond-Wolfe electoral district. Its final election was in 1970 Quebec general election, 1970. It disappeared in the 1973 Quebec general election, 1973 election and its successor electoral districts were Frontenac (provincial electoral district), Frontenac, Mégantic-Compton and Richmond (Quebec provincial electoral district), Richmond. Wolfe City, Texas
Wolfe City is a city in Hunt County, Texas, United States, located at the intersection of State Highways 34 and 11. It is north of Greenville in north-central Hunt County, and was settled in the 1860s or 1870s, when J. Pinckney Wolfe built a mill near the banks of Oyster Creek. The population was 1,399 at the 2020 census, down from 1,412 at the 2010 census. Geography Wolfe City is located near the northern border of Hunt County. State Highway 34 runs through the center of town as Santa Fe Street, leading northeast to Honey Grove and south to Greenville, the Hunt County seat. Morris Berg (March 2, 1902 – May 29, 1972) was an American professional baseball catcher and coach in Major League Baseball who later served as a spy for the Office of Strategic Services during World War II. He played 15 seasons in the major leagues, almost entirely for four American League teams, though he was never more than an average player and was better known for being "the brainiest guy in baseball." Wolfe Lake is a lake in Ontario, Canada, located in the eastern part of the province in South Frontenac and Rideau Lakes townships. The nearest village is Westport. The shoreline surrounding Wolfe Lake is a mix of cottages, farmland and forest, with both gradual sloping shoreline and steeply pitched grades of rocky outcroppings.
