Wolf Girl (band)
Wolf Girl was a four-piece indie pop band from London, England. The band consisted of Healey Becks, Christabel Williams, Chris Wood and Carl Farrugia. After releasing EP ''Mama's Boy'' on Soft Power Records in 2014, the band released their debut album ''We Tried'' with Odd Box Records in 2016. They played Indietracks Festival in 2014 and 2018 and the prestigious Sŵn Festival in Cardiff at the end of 2016. Second album ''Every Now & Then'' was released on Everything Sucks Music in October 2018. They disbanded in 2019 for unspecified reasons. Musically, they have been compared to The Flatmates, C86, Scarlet's Well, Sarah Records, Veronica Falls, Weezer Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1992. Sarah Records
Sarah Records was a British independent record label active in Bristol between 1987 and 1995, best known for its recordings of indie pop, which it released mostly on 7" singles. On reaching the catalogue number SARAH 100, the label celebrated its 100th release by throwing a party and shutting itself down. In March 2015, ''NME'' declared Sarah to be the second greatest indie label of all time, behind only 4AD. Diet Cig is an American indie rock duo that formed in September 2014 in New Paltz, New York, United States. The band consists of Alex Luciano on guitar/vocals and Noah Bowman on drums. Their first studio album, ''Swear I'm Good At This'', was released in April 2017. Their second studio album, ''Do You Wonder About Me'', was released in May 2020. Luciano and Bowman met at a house show in New Paltz during the summer of 2014. Bowman's old band, Earl Boykins, was playing at the house show, where Luciano needed a cigarette lighter. She interrupted the band's set to ask Bowman for one, but he gave her a bottle of wine instead. Afterwards, Luciano got his number and told him she'd make a music video for him.
