Willum Þór Willumsson
Willum Þór Willumsson (born 23 October 1998) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eredivisie club Go Ahead Eagles and the Iceland national team. Club career Willum signed with BATE Borisov in February 2019. In February 2022, he signed a six-month extension with the club. International career Willum made his debut for the Iceland national team on 15 January 2019 in a friendly against Estonia, coming on as a 69th-minute substitute for Jón Dagur Þorsteinsson. Career statistics Personal life Willum is the son of Willum Þór Þórsson, a former football player and manager, current member of the Icelandic parliament and Minister of Health since 2021. He is the brother of fellow footballer Brynjólfur Willumsson, who plays for Kristiansund. Go Ahead Eagles () are a Dutch professional football club from the city of Deventer. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, having achieved promotion from the second tier Eerste Divisie in the 2020-21 season. 2016 Breiðablik UBK Season
The 2016 season is Breiðablik's 31st season in Úrvalsdeild and their 11th consecutive season in top-flight of Icelandic Football. Along with the Úrvalsdeild, the club will compete in the Lengjubikarinn, Borgunarbikarinn and the 2016–17 Europa League first qualifying round. Arnar Grétarsson's will head coach Breiðablik for the second season running after leading the team to 2nd in the league and bringing home the Icelandic league cup in his first season.
