John Willink
John Wakefield Willink (24 October 1858 – 22 September 1927) was an Anglican dean in the first half of the 20th century. Willink was educated at Clifton College and Pembroke College, Cambridge. Ordained in 1881, he held a curacy at Bishop Auckland before becoming Vicar of St John's, Sunderland. In 1891 he moved to St Helens and then held further incumbencies at Great Yarmouth and St Martin in the Bull Ring, Birmingham. The Willink School
The Willink School is a comprehensive community school in Burghfield Common, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Founded in 1957, the school is co-educational and has an enrolment of 1,218 students aged 11–18. The head teacher is Peter Fry. History The school opened on 8 January 1957 as a secondary modern with an enrolment of 245. It was named after Henry George Willink (1851–1938), the former chairman of the Berkshire County Education Committee who lived in Burghfield. The school underwent significant expansion in the 1970s, and in the 1980s a leisure centre was built as part of the site. In 1996, the school became one of the first in the country (and the first in Berkshire) to be awarded Language College status. The leisure centre was expanded in 1997 to include a swimming pool. By the end of the decade, enrolment at the school had reached 789. In 2005 it had risen to 927, and had reached 1,030 by the time of the school's 2012 Ofsted inspection. Willink, New York
Willink, New York (sometimes "Willinck") is a former town in Western New York, United States. The name was derived from Willem Willink, one of the original investors of the Holland Land Company. Willink was originally formed in Genesee County, from the Town of Batavia in 1804, before becoming part of Niagara County in 1808. When Erie County was formed from the south part of Niagara County, Willink became the south part of that new county. Willink already had been divided to form the towns of Cambria and Clarence in 1808, Clarence forming the northern part of the yet created Erie County. New towns continued to be formed from Willink until 1818, when Holland and Wales were the last to be partitioned. The citizens of the remaining portion of Willink voted to change the town's name to Aurora, effective the same date as the formation of Holland and Wales. Mathilde Willink née Maria Theodora Mathilde de Doelder (7 July 1938, Terneuzen – 25 October 1977, Amsterdam) was an Amsterdam society figure and fashion icon, married to Dutch painter Carel Willink (1900–1983) from 1969 to 1977. John Gretton "Jocko" Willink (born September 8, 1971) is an American author, podcaster, and retired United States Navy officer who served in the Navy SEALs and is a former member of SEAL Team 3. Willink's military service includes combat actions in the Iraq War, where he commanded SEAL Team 3's Task Unit Bruiser, the unit that fought in the battle against the Iraqi insurgents in Ramadi. Sir Henry Urmston Willink, 1st Baronet, (7 March 1894 – 20 July 1973) was a British politician and public servant. A Conservative Member of Parliament from 1940, he became Minister of Health in 1943. During his time in power he was appointed Special Commissioner for those made homeless by the London Blitz and was involved with the production of the Beveridge Report. The details of the report proposed a comprehensive free healthcare system, this led to the white paper '''A National Health Service, published in 1944, suggesting the creation of such a service, which did not include the nationalisation of hospitals.
