Wayne Hall (rugby Union)
Wayne Hopkin Hall (born 29 January 1958) is a Welsh former rugby union international. Hall was raised in town of Pencoed and attended Pencoed Comprehensive School. The first Pencoed RFC produced player to be capped for Wales, Hall made his debut against Western Samoa as a 30-year old in 1988, by which time he was a veteran hooker with Bridgend. This remained his only Wales cap. Hall is the father of professional golfer Lydia Hall. BBC Radio Wales is a Welsh radio station owned and operated by BBC Cymru Wales, a division of the BBC. It began broadcasting on 13 November 1978, replacing the 'Radio 4 Wales' opt-out service (previously the Welsh Home Service). Pencoed Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team based in Pencoed. Today, Pencoed RFC plays in the Welsh Rugby Union, Division Two West League and is a feeder club for the Ospreys. The team badge consists of a shield containing the lamb of god carrying a St George's standard. The shield is topped by the Prince of Wales three feathers. Pencoed RFC was established in 1888 with the clubhouse situated on the eastern edge of Felindre Rd. In 1980 the Mini & Junior section was formed. The Wales national rugby union team ( cy, Tîm rygbi'r undeb cenedlaethol Cymru) represents Wales in men's international rugby union. Its governing body, the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), was established in 1881, the same year that Wales played their first international against England. The team plays its home matches at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff (currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Principality Stadium), which replaced Cardiff Arms Park as the national stadium of Wales in 1999. Bridgend Ravens ( cy, Cigfrain Pen-y-bont) (formerly Bridgend RFC) are a semi-professional rugby union club based in Bridgend, South Wales. They currently play in the Welsh Premier Division and are a feeder club to the Ospreys regional team. Origin Bridgend RFC first formed a team in 1878, playing and losing to Newport RFC in the final of the South Wales Challenge Cup. However, the club was only established de facto after the first general meeting of the club was held at the York Hotel, Bridgend on 11 April 1880. Lydia Hall
Lydia Gail Hall (born 14 December 1987) is a Welsh professional golfer and currently plays on the Ladies European Tour. In 2012, she won the ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters, her first Ladies European Tour win. In 2016, she won the Welsh National PGA Championship, the first woman to win a PGA national tournament. She is the daughter of Wayne Hall, a rugby union player, who played one match for Wales in 1988.
