Wayland (band)
Wayland is a crossover country rock band consisting of singer/rhythm guitarist Mitchel Arnold, and guitarist/background vocalist Phillip Vilenski. The band was named after the city of Wayland where Vilenski grew up. The band is known for their extensive fan base and their transparent and intimate relationship with their fanbase, the Wayland Warriors. History Mitchel Arnold, Phillip Vilenski, Dean Pizzazz, Tyler Coburn were four midwestern natives that all met in Los Angeles and built a band around Mitch and Phill's songwriting. One of their first gigs was becoming the house band at the Whisky A Go Go. While playing the Whisky A Gogo, they caught the ear of Michael Gurley (Dada) and Florian Ammon (Rammstein, Mariah Carey, U2) and they began developing twelve songs which would become their self titled debut album. Wayland, Michigan
Wayland is a city in Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,435 at the 2020 census. The city is located at the northwest corner of Wayland Township, but is politically independent. The city has also incorporated a portion of land in the south of adjacent Leighton Township. U.S. Route 131 forms the western boundary of the city. The city is home to OpenRoad Brewery, as well as several local restaurants and businesses. Train is an American pop rock band from San Francisco that formed in 1993. As of 2025, the band consists of Pat Monahan (lead vocals), Taylor Locke (guitar, vocals), Hector Maldonado (bass, vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards, guitar), and Matt Musty (drums). Blackberry Smoke is an American country rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2001. The lineup consists of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Charlie Starr, lead/rhythm guitarist Paul Jackson, bassist Richard Turner and keyboardist Brandon Still.
