Washington Luiz (São Paulo Metro)
Washington Luis will be a monorail station of Line 17 (São Paulo Metro), Line 17-Gold of ViaMobilidade, which is currently under construction, and will connect Line 9 (CPTM), Line 9-Emerald to São Paulo–Congonhas Airport, Congonhas Airport. Jardim Aeroporto station will be located in the crossing of Avenida Jornalista Roberto Marinho with Avenida Washington Luís. Initially, in the São Paulo Metro expansion plans, Line 17 (São Paulo Metro), Line 17-Gold should be open until 2014, connecting with São Paulo–Morumbi (São Paulo Metro), São Paulo–Morumbi station of Line 4 (São Paulo Metro), Line 4-Yellow, at the time that Estádio do Morumbi, Morumbi Stadium was considered one of the hosts for 2014 FIFA World Cup. Line 4 (Yellow) () is one of the six lines that make up the São Paulo Metro and one of the thirteen lines that make up the São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Transportation Network. Originally called Southeast-Southwest Line, the line goes from Vila Sônia to Luz and currently has 11 stations along its and transports around 800,000 users/day. São Paulo–Congonhas Airport
São Paulo/Congonhas–Deputado Freitas Nobre Airport is one of the four commercial airports serving São Paulo, Brazil. The airport is named after the neighborhood where it is located, called Vila Congonhas, property of the descendants of Lucas Antônio Monteiro de Barros (1767–1851), Viscount of Congonhas, Congonhas do Campo, first president of the province of São Paulo after the independence of Brazil in 1822, during the Empire of Brazil, Empire. In turn, the Viscount's domain was named after the plural of a shrub known in Brazil as ''congonha-do-campo'' (''Luxemburgia polyandra'', of the Ochnaceae family). A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Line 9 (Emerald) (), formerly Line C (Sky Blue) () and Line C (Emerald) (), is one of the thirteen lines that make up the Transport in São Paulo#Rail transport, São Paulo Metro Rail Transport Network in Brazil and one of the three lines operated by ViaMobilidade. Line 17 (Gold) () is an under construction monorail project for the São Paulo Metro. The line will have 14 stations, beginning at the São Paulo-Morumbi station and ending at the Jabaquara station, with a branch to Congonhas station, connected to the São Paulo/Congonhas Airport. It will have integration with Line 1-Blue, Line 4-Yellow, and Line 5-Lilac as well as CPTM Line 9-Emerald. The line was originally one of the transportation projects supporting the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
