Tail wagging is the behavior of the dog observed as its tail moves back and forth in the same plane. Within Canidae, specifically ''Canis lupus familiaris'', the tail plays multiple roles, which can include balance, and communication. It is considered a social signal. The behaviour can be categorized by vigorous movement or slight movement of the tip of the tail. Tail wagging can also occur in circular motions, and when the tail is held at maximum height, neutral height, or between the legs. Tail wagging can be used as a social signal within species and convey the emotional state of the dog. The tail wagging behavior of a dog may not always be an indication of its friendliness or happiness, as is commonly believed. Whanganui Airport , named Wanganui Airport until 2016, is the airport that serves Whanganui, New Zealand. It is located to the south of Whanganui River, approximately 4 km from the centre of Whanganui. The airport has a single asphalt runway and three grass runways, and its single terminal has two gates. History The airport opened in 1954, and services to the airport began in November that year. In September 2013, Air New Zealand announced that it would withdraw services from Whanganui to Wellington and Taupo in December 2013. Sounds Air took over the Wellington route until 15 May 2015. Air New Zealand then withdrew service from Auckland to Whanganui on 31 July 2016. The next day, Air Chathams began service between Whanganui and Auckland, replicating Air New Zealand's schedule and, according to then-mayor Annette Main, saving the airport from potential closure. Wellsville, Addison And Galeton Railroad
The Wellsville, Addison & Galeton Railroad was formed in 1954 to operate a section of Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (B&O) trackage which had been isolated from the rest of the system by a 1942 flood. This trackage was acquired by the B&O as part of the purchase of the Buffalo & Susquehanna Railroad (B&S) in 1932. It is known as the operator of a set of GE centercab diesels supplemented by F7 locomotives in later years. History The original Wellsville, Addison & Galeton Railroad (WA&G) consisted of two main lines originating from Galeton, Pennsylvania. One ran northwest to Wellsville, New York, where it connected to the Erie Railroad; the other ran northeast to Addison, New York and also connected to the Erie. Wangaratta Railway Station
Wangaratta railway station is located on the North East line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of the same name, and opened on 28 October 1873. History When Wangaratta opened, it was the temporary terminus of the line from Benalla, before it was extended to Wodonga on 21 November 1873. A goods shed is located across from the main platform, but has no siding, and the goods shed office was demolished in 1978. Dock platforms were once located at both ends of the station. There are footbridges at both the south end of the platform and over the northern end of the yard. The main platform and station building is located to the east of the standard gauge "West" line. The West Asian Games (abbreviated as the WAG) is a multi-sport event held among the athletes from West Asia. The West Asian Games was first organised in Tehran, Iran and was considered as the first of its kind. The success of the Games led to the creation of the West Asian Games Federation (WAGF) and the intention of hosting the Games every four years. At present, the WAGF comprises 12 member countries, namely Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Wag (Amharic language, Amharic: ዋግ) is a traditional Highland (geography), Highland district in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia, in the approximate location of the modern Wag Hemra Zone. Herbert Weld Blundell, Weld Blundell described the district as bounded on the south by the mountains of Lasta, on the east and north by the Tellare River, and the west by the Tekezé River, Tekezé. The major urban center is the town of Sokota, which has been a major marketplace for centuries. James Bruce states that Wag was given to the heirs of the deposed Zagwe dynasty, when the Solomonic dynasty was restored to the throne of Ethiopia in 1270.
