Víctor Fatecha
Víctor Abel Fatecha Riveros (born 10 March 1988 in Concepción) is a Paraguayan athlete specializing in the javelin throw. He competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing without reaching the final. Fatecha is tied to Paraguay Marathon Club and competes in Paraguay's national competitions under the Federación Paraguaya de Atletismo. He belongs to a line of Paraguayan throwers, such as Ramón Jiménez Gaona (discus), Nery Kennedy (javelin) and Edgar Baumann (javelin), who all had successful careers. In 2014 Fatecha was one of three Paraguayan throwers to reach over 70 metres, including Larson Giovanni Diaz Martinez and Fabian Jara. Concepción, Paraguay
Concepción () is a city and district in northern Paraguay and capital of the Concepción Department. It lies next to the Paraguay River. Founded by a Spanish Governor, named Agustín Fernado de Pinedo, the town prospered in the early years of the 20th century, as a centre for the north of the country, exploiting the new wealth of the Gran Chaco, and a river port. Ramón Jiménez-Gaona Arellano (born September 10, 1969) is a retired male discus thrower from Paraguay. During the presidency of Horacio Cartes he served as Paraguay's Minister of Public Works. Cristian Fatecha (born 15 March 1982) is a Paraguayan footballer. He is the brother of javelin thrower Víctor Fatecha. Fatecha represented Paraguay U20, finishing in Third place at the 2001 South American U-20 Championship and Fourth place at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship. Fatecha went on to make two appearances at full international level during the qualifiers for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Fabian Jara
Édgar Fabian Jara Dohmann (born 8 January 1993, height: 1,67m) is a Paraguayan javelin thrower. He represented the University of Texas in the US and also Club Sol de América (Asunción), Sol de América in Paraguay. Jara was coached by Olympic Athlete Claudio Escauriza and Santiago Pérez up to his arrival at the University of Texas in 2014, when he started training under American former javelin thrower, Ty Sevin .
