Vjeran Simunić
Vjeran Simunić (born 26 April 1953) is a Croatian professional Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former Football player, player. Playing career Simunić started his playing career in Hajduk Split in the 1970s. He did not get too many chances in Hajduk as the competition was very big at the time. After Hajduk, his next station was HNK Šibenik, then HNK Cibalia, Dinamo Vinkovci and NK Zagreb, where he spent most of the playing career. In 1982 he made transfer to Sporting Clube de Portugal, Sporting Lisabon. After one season he moved to Japan. He was first European player to play in Japan. The club was Tokyo Verdy. After two more challenges in Italy, he returned to native country. He finished his playing career in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with NK Posušje. NK Čakovec
Nogometni Klub Čakovec (), commonly referred to as NK Čakovec or simply Čakovec, was a Croatian football club based in Čakovec, in the northern part of the country. The club folded in 2011. The club's arguably biggest success came when they won promotion to the Croatian First League in 2000. However, they only spent two seasons in the top flight before being relegated back to the Croatian Second League in 2002. In 2007, they finished bottom of the Croatian Second League and were relegated to the Croatian Third League, going on to end up playing in the fourth tier of Croatian football following another relegation in 2008. The club was played their home matches at the Stadion SRC Mladost, Čakovec, which has been their home ground since 1987 and can hold approximately 8,000 people. NK Marsonia
NK Marsonia is a Croatian football club based in the city of Slavonski Brod. They currently play in the third division Treća HNL. NK Marsonia was founded in 1909. From 1945 to 1962 the club was called ''NK Radnički Brod'', and then ''BSK'' from 1962 to 1992 before the club's original name was restored. NK Marsonia last played in the top flight 1.HNL in 2004, finishing last and suffering relegation. NK Kamen Ingrad was a Croatian football club from Velika, a small town near Požega in the northeast of Croatia. The club was dissolved in July 2008 after serious financial problems. History The club was formed as NK Velika in 1929. After World War II the club was renamed to NK Papuk. The current name was adopted in 1999, when the club's main sponsor became a local construction company called Kamen Ingrad. NK Slavonac is a Croatian football club based in a village Stari Perkovci in Slavonia. Slavonac clinched promotion to an expanded 1. HNL in 2009 after finishing 4th in the second division. However, since the club plays in a village of only 1,300 people, they were not able to secure a home ground for the top flight in nearby Slavonski Brod and were instead administratively relegated.
