''Vivir es hoy'' is a studio album by the Argentine singer Soledad Pastorutti, released by Sony Music on 10 March 2015. The album is a fusion of Latin pop and Folk music#Latin America, Latin folk, produced by Gian Marco and Matías Zapata, and recorded in Buenos Aires and Los Angeles. Background It took a little more than two years to create the album, and Soledad has spoken on occasions to the press about the creation of the album. Taking as a reference the work embodied in ''Raíz (album), Raíz'', a collaborative album released the previous year that united her with Lila Downs and Niña Pastori, Soledad confided during an interview with Télam, "I needed people to know where I wanted to go and could go. Soledad "La Sole" Pastorutti (born October 12, 1980) is an Argentine folk singer, who brought the genre to the younger generations at the end of the 20th century, and the beginning of the 21st. She is also a film and TV actress. Soledad is the older sister of Argentine singer Natalia Pastorutti. Her first album, ''Poncho al Viento'', is Sony Music's best-selling album ever in Argentina according to Alberto Caldero, Sony Music's president in the late 90s, in an interview with ''La Nación'' newspaper. Jeffrey Scott Buckley (raised as Scott Moorhead; November 17, 1966 – May 29, 1997) was an American musician. After a decade as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, he attracted a cult following in the early 1990s performing at venues in the East Village, Manhattan. He signed with Columbia, recruited a band, and released his only studio album, ''Grace'', in 1994. Buckley toured extensively to promote ''Grace'', with concerts in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Australia. In 1996, Buckley worked on his second album with the working title '' My Sweetheart the Drunk'' in New York City with Tom Verlaine as the producer. Los Ángeles Azules () are a Mexican musical group that plays the ''cumbia sonidera'' genre, which is a cumbia subgenre using the accordion and synthesizers. This results in a fusion of the sounds of cumbia from the 1950-1970s with those of 1990s-style electronic music. History The group got together in 1976, but started officially in 1980.
