''Vittoria'' is a 2024 Italian drama film written and directed by Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman. It premiered at the 81st edition of the Venice Film Festival. Plot Cast * Marilena Amato as Jasmine * Gennaro Scarica as Rino * Nina Lorenza Ciano as Vittoria Production The second feature film of Cassigoli and Kauffman, ''Vittoria'' was produced by Zoe Films, Sacher Film, Scarabeo Entertainment and Ladoc with Rai Cinema. The film is a dramatization of real life events of the non-professional leading actress Marilena Amato, a hairdresser from Torre Annunziata who had already appeared in a minor role in the filmmakers' previous film, '' Californie''. This is the filmmakers' third film set in Torre Annunziata, following ''Californie'' and the documentary ''Butterfly''. Casey Kauffman
Casey Kauffman is an American journalist and filmmaker. He is known for his work as a journalist for Al Jazeera English and for directing films with Alessandro Cassigoli — ''The Things We Keep'' (2017), ''Butterfly'' (2018), '' Californie'' (2018), and '' Vittoria'' (2024). Life and career Kauffman graduated from Stanford University in 2000 with a political science degree. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern.
