Viswaroopam (1981 Film)
''Viswaroopam'' is 1981 Telugu-language philosophical film, produced by K. Bhanu Prasad under the Kavi Ratna Movies banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Jayasudha and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was a ''flop'' at the box office. Plot The film begins in a town where two malice, Anna Rao & Gunna Rao, always compete for the city Municipal Chairman post. They also make their children Prasad Babu & Eswar Rao move in their footsteps and create much turbulence in college. In that dilemma, a new lecturer, Viswam, a good Samaritan, joins, eradicates dirty politics, and reforms his students. Parallelly, the municipality notifies elections, so Anna Rao & Gunna Rao approach Viswam to seek his help as student power is in his hands, but he refuses. Kosaraju Raghavaiah
Kosaraju Raghavayya (23 June 1905 – 27 October 1987), known mononumously by his surname Kosaraju, was an Indian lyricist and poet known for his works in Telugu cinema. He wrote about 3,000 songs in 350 films. His lyrics are steeped in Telugu folklore and rural idiom. He was awarded the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for his contribution to Telugu cinema in 1984. Sukumari
Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Italian, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Tamil film '' Namma Gramam'' (2010). Sukumari died on 26 March 2013 in Chennai, following a heart attack. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet and lyricist who is known for his works in Telugu literature and cinema. Veturi is a recipient of the National Film Award, various Nandi Awards, Filmfare Awards, and other state honors. His career in Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. Indukuri Ramakrishnam Raju (31 August 1934 – 14 August 1994), commonly known by his pen name Rajasri, was an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, film director, and music composer in Telugu cinema. He worked on nearly 1000 films, with a significant portion being dubbed films. Rajasri was especially known for writing Telugu lyrics for many films dubbed from Tamil during the 1980s and early 1990s. Ambika (actress)
Ambika is an Indian actress known for her work predominantly across the entire southern film industry and in several tele serials. She has also acted in an English film (Indian-American), to date. She was one of the top South Indian heroines for more than a decade from 1976 to 1989. Her younger sister Radha was also an actress. Dasari Narayana Rao (4 May 1942 – 30 May 2017) was an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, lyricist, and politician, primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema. Over his four decade career, he directed more than 150 feature films, earning a Limca World Record for directing the most films in the world.
