ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Eleni Rossides (born October 23, 1967) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Rossides, who is of Greek descent, grew up in Washington, D.C. She is the daughter of Eugene T. Rossides, a college football player at Columbia who was drafted by the New York Giants. Renata Marcinkowska (born 24 February 1965) is a Polish-American former professional tennis player. She competed during her professional tennis career as Renata Baranski. Biography Born in Szczecin, Marcinkowska left Poland in 1981 to compete in the United States. Once there she received a scholarship to the Oklahoma State University, where she was an All-American collegiate tennis player. While at Oklahoma State she got married and became known as Renata Baranski. She graduated with a psychology degree in 1987, then joined the professional tour. "The Chathams" is a term used in reference to shared services for two neighboring municipalities in Morris County, New Jersey, United States – Chatham Borough and Chatham Township. Tine Scheuer-Larsen (born 13 March 1966) is a retired tennis player from Denmark. She became Danish Champion in singles in 1981 age 15 as the youngest Danish player ever. She also became the highest ranked Danish female player on 29 September 1986, when she became the number 34 of the world. Both records were broken by Caroline Wozniacki in 2004 and 2008 respectively.
