Tine Scheuer-Larsen
Tine Scheuer-Larsen (born 13 March 1966) is a retired tennis player from Denmark. She became Danish Champion in singles in 1981 age 15 as the youngest Danish player ever at the time. She also became the highest ranked Danish female player on 29 September 1986, when she became the number 34 of the world. Both records were broken by Caroline Wozniacki in 2004 and 2008 respectively. She became a professional in 1980 and retired in 1994, having won seven doubles titles on the WTA Tour. Petra Huber (born 15 February 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Biography Junior career Before turning professional, Huber competed with success on the junior circuit. In 1982 she partnered with Judith Polz to make the girls' doubles semi-finals at the Australian Open and quarter-finals at the French Open. She was a semi-finalist in the girls' singles event at the 1983 French Open. Professional tennis Huber made her first WTA Tour final at the 1984 Miami Classic, which she lost to Laura Arraya. Claudia Kohde Kilsch
Claudia Kohde-Kilsch ( Kohde; born 11 December 1963) is a former German tennis player and member of the Die Linke. During her tennis career, she won two women's doubles Grand Slam titles. She also won eight singles titles and a total of 25 doubles titles. Personal life Kohde-Kilsch was born Claudia Kohde in Saarbrücken, but added the hyphenated "-Kilsch" to her name which came from her adoptive father Jürgen Kilsch, an attorney. She has a younger sister, Katrin. She began playing tennis aged 5, and was soon a rising junior player. Kohde-Kilsch campaigned for Oskar Lafontaine of Die Linke at the 2012 Saarland state election. The German Open, known as the Berlin Tennis Open (previously the Grass Court Championships Berlin, bett1open) is an annual WTA Tour professional tennis tournament for women held in Berlin, Germany. It was played in West Berlin, West Germany (until 1990), then in Berlin from 1991 to 2008 on clay, and since 2021 on grass, following reunification. Held since 1896, it was one of the oldest tournaments for women. Until 1978 the tournament was held in Hamburg together with the men's tournament. The Brighton International was a tennis tournament held in Brighton, UK. It was a WTA Tour event from 1978 to 1995 and an ATP Tour event from 1996 to 2000, upon the discontinuation of the women's tournament. The women's event was held in October. It was competed on indoor carpet courts and was a WTA Tier II event prior to being removed from the tour.
