Velox Valhallians
Westshore Rugby Football Club (Or Simply Westshore R.F.C., or Westshore Rugby) is a rugby union club located in Colwood, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. The club has the largest junior program on the island and is home to a number of Canadian national men's and women's team players. Founded in 1968 after a split from James Bay Athletic Association (JBAA), Westshore RFC was founded as ''Velox RFC''. With the tag line "Velox Omni Vincit" Which in latin translates to "Speed Conquers All'. Velox was founded to pursue a new style of play focused on speed, passing, and using the entire field to play. In 1987, a group of alumni from The University of Victoria joined the club & the club was changed from Velox RFC, to Velox-Valhallians R.F.C.. Winston Stanley (rugby Union, Born 1974)
Winston Ulysses Stanley (born July 14, 1974 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian rugby union player. He played wing for University of British Columbia, James Bay Athletic Association and Vancouver Kats in Canada before later moving to English club Leicester Tigers. He earned 66 caps for Canada. He made his debut on May 21, 1994 against the United States. He played at the 1995 Rugby World Cup finals and the 2003 Rugby World Cup finals. Stanley was part of the Leicester Tigers team that won the Heineken Cup, Zurich Premiership, and the Championship play-off in 2001. Stanley started the victorious 2001 Heineken Cup Final for Leicester. He retired from international rugby following the 2003 Rugby World Cup. Mark Andrew Wyatt (born 12 April 1961 in Bermuda) is a Canadian former rugby union footballer. He played as a fullback and sometimes as a fly-half. Career Wyatt is remembered as one of the best Canadian rugby players of his generation and of all time, and for his kicking skills which made him one of the most prolific scorers ever for Canada.
