Bryn Keys
Bryn Keys (born August 29, 1985) is a Canadian former international rugby union player. Biography Keys is native of Abbotsford, British Columbia and grew up around rugby union from an early age, with his father George being the rugby coach at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School, Abbotsford Secondary School. He was a youth product of Abbotsford RFC and played on the Yale Secondary School rugby team, before moving to Robert Bateman Secondary School, Robert Bateman Secondary for his final year of school. A centre, Keys spent his career with Westshore RFC, Velox Valhallians, Aurora Barbarians and English professional club Birmingham Moseley Rugby, Moseley. Keys represented Canada at the Under 19 Rugby World Championship in 2004 and progressed to earn full international honours at the 2008 Churchill Cup, gaining his first Canada national rugby union team, Canada cap against the United States in Chicago. 2008 Churchill Cup
The 2008 Churchill Cup took place between 7 June and 21 June 2008 in what was the sixth year of the Churchill Cup. Six rugby union teams took part: , England Saxons, Ireland A, Scotland A, the , and an Argentinian XV. Participation The entry of an Argentinian XV into the competition stems from a decision by the New Zealand Rugby Union not to assemble its 'A' team, the Junior All Blacks, in 2008; as a consequence, the New Zealand Māori, who have taken part in the last three Churchill Cup tournaments, replaced the Juniors in the Pacific Nations Cup and were not available for the Churchill Cup.
