Varuzhan Sukiasyan
Varuzhan Sukiasyan ( hy, Վարուժան Սուքիասյան, russian: Варужан Гарсеванович Сукиасян; born 5 August 1956 in Yerevan), is an Armenian association football manager and former player. He is the brother of Yervand Sukiasyan. Between 1978 and 1987, Sukiasyan played at FC Kotayk of Abovyan. He managed the Armenia national team in the 2000–2001 period. In 2015–2016, he worked as manager of the Armenia national team, his second spell. Coaching career In 1989, Sukiasyan began his coaching career in FC Lori from Vanadzor, then was the coach of Banants Kotayk between 1992 and 1994, including when they won the Armenian Cup in 1992. He also was the coach of Van Yerevan and Homenmen Beirut. In 1998, Sukiasyan became the coach of Tsement Ararat with which he won the Armenian Premier League in 1998 and 2000 and Armenian Cup in 1998 and 1999. Dilijan
Dilijan ( hy, Դիլիջան) is a spa town and urban municipal community in the Tavush Province of Armenia. The town is one of the most important resorts in Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. 2008 Armenian Premier League
The 2008 Armenian Premier League season (known as ''STAR National Football League'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the seventeenth since its establishment. It started on 6 April 2008, while the last matches were played on 15 November 2008. FC Pyunik were the defending champions. The Yerevan side won their seventh consecutive league title the previous season, their tenth overall. FC Dinamo Yerevan were supposed to be the team to get promoted, but they withdrew from the Premier League, and were disbanded. On 30 April 2008, Football Federation of Armenia signed a contract with STAR retailing company by which STAR would become the sponsor of the 17th Armenian Premier League season, and henceforth the 2008 season would be called STAR National Football League. Dušan Mijić
Dušan Mijić (; born 23 January 1965) is a Serbian former football player, manager and administrator. Career After starting out at Hajduk Kula, Mijić played for Vojvodina from 1982 to 1991, winning the Yugoslav First League in the 1988–89 season. He later played abroad in Spain (Espanyol and Palamós). Following his playing days, Mijić served as manager of Armenian Premier League club Ararat Yerevan on two occasions (2007 and 2014). The Armenian Premier League ( hy, VBET Հայաստանի Պրեմիեր Լիգա, known as the VBET Armenian Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the top football competition in Armenia. From 1936 to 1991, the competition was held as a regional tournament within the USSR. After independence, the Football Federation of Armenia has been the unit in charge.
