Vani Vihar
Vani Vihar is the most famous centre of education in the city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The campus of the Utkal University is located at Vani Vihar. The University Law College and the Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE) are also located here. Vani Vihar has also a Railway Station named after it. Etymology and history ''Vani'' in Sanskrit means "word" or "knowledge" and ''Vihara'' means "abode". Vani is also another name of Saraswati, the Hindu Goddess of Learning. As such, Vani Vihar literally means ''the abode of learning''. It may be noted that the campus of all the prominent universities in Odisha are similarly named. Sambalpur University is located at ''Jyoti Vihar'', Berhampur University is located at ''Bhanja Vihar'', whereas Fakir Mohan University is located as ''Vyasa Vihar''. Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (; ) is the capital and largest city of the States and territories of India, Indian state of Odisha. Utkal University
Utkal University (UU) is a Public university in Bhubaneswar, Khordha district, Khordha, Odisha, and is the oldest university in Odisha, the state, and the 17th-oldest university in India. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university. The present campus at Vani Vihar located on a sprawling 399.9 acre area in the heart of Bhubaneswar. Saraswati
Saraswati ( sa, सरस्वती, ) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, art, speech, wisdom, and learning. She is one of the Tridevi, along with the goddesses Lakshmi and Parvati. The earliest known mention of Saraswati as a goddess is in the Rigveda. She has remained significant as a goddess from the Vedic period through the modern period of Hindu traditions. She is generally shown to have four arms, holding a book, a rosary, a water pot, and a musical instrument called the veena. Each of these items have a symbolic meaning in Hinduism. Sambalpur University is located in Burla town, of district Sambalpur, India, in the state of Odisha. Popularly known as Jyoti Vihar, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Fakir Mohan University (FM University) is a state university located at Nuapadhi, Balasore, Odisha, India. It is named after Odia writer Fakir Mohan Senapati. Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar ( or, ପଦାର୍ଥ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ) is an autonomous research institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
