V. Chamundeswaranath
Vankina Chamundeswaranath (born 25 June 1959) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Andhra between 1978/79 and 1991/92. Also a businessman, he is a co-owner of the Indian Badminton League franchise Mumbai Masters. Life and career A right-handed middle-order batsman from Rajahmundry, Chamundeswaranath represented Andhra for 14 seasons after making his first-class debut at the age of 19. He played 44 first-class matches and scored 1818 runs at an average of 26.34. He was the captain of Andhra for 13 matches between 1988/89 and 1990/91. He played for Wills XI in 1988/89 and South Zone in 1989/90. Chamundeswaranath was elected as the chairman of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) selection committee in 2007. He was also the secretary of ACA, and selector of Andhra under-19 and women's teams. Rajahmundry
Rajahmundry, officially known as Rajamahendravaram, is a city in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and District headquarters of East Godavari district. It is the sixth most populated city in the state. During British rule, the District of Rajahmundry was created in the Madras Presidency in 1823. It was reorganised in 1859 and bifurcated into the Godavari and Krishna districts. Rajahmundry was the headquarters of Godavari district, which was further bifurcated into East Godavari and West Godavari districts in 1925. 2009 ICC World Twenty20
The 2009 ICC World Twenty20 was an international Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) that took place in England in June 2009. It was the second ICC World Twenty20 tournament, following the inaugural event in South Africa in September 2007. As before, the tournament featured 12 male teams – nine of the ten Test-playing nations and three associate nations, which earned their places through a qualification tournament. Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao (born 29 August 1959), known mononymously as Nagarjuna, is an Indian actor, film producer, television presenter, and entrepreneur. Sunil Manohar Gavaskar (Marathi pronunciation: uniːl ɡaːʋəskəɾ ; born 10 July 1949), is an Indian cricket commentator and former cricketer who represented India and Bombay from 1971 to 1987.
