Uttam Bandu Tupe
Uttam Tupe (28 December 1932 – 26 April 2020) was a writer and poet from Pune, India. He wrote several hundred short stories and 16 novels. One of his books was made into a successful play (theatre), play, and another into a feature film. Tupe also wrote about the social ills of the caste system and issues with Devadasi. Early life Tupe wrote a series of novels with a Devadasi theme (arts), theme that were released into the Marathi language, Marathi literary scene in the 1980s. Tupe began writing in the rustic dialect of his native Satara district. He crafted a short story on the evils of the dowry system. It was immediately published, and a few months later, Tupe got Rs 501 as a cash prize from the Marathi language, Marathi Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad. Uttam Rai (born 20 December 1996) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He previously appeared with both the Nepali Martyr's Memorial A-Division League clubs Friends Kopundole and Sankata Boys. Early career Rai was born on 20 December 1996 in Chumbung, West Sikkim, India. In 2007 Uttam joined the Namchi Football Academy, under the ''Search for More Bhaichungs'' program, in which he played in the Subroto Cup for two years. His highlight of the tournament was when he scored four goals in only 35 minutes against Sri Vyas Vidya Mandir, a game Namchi won 13–0. After the 2007 Subroto Cup, Uttam gained a scholarship for Air Force School Football Academy who are based in Delhi where he stayed for two years. Uttambhai Nathalal Mehta (1924 - 1998) was an Indian businessman and the founder and chairman of Torrent Group. Early and personal life Mehta was born into a Gujarati Jain family in Mehmadpur, a small village in Palanpur district, India. Uttama, also known as Madhurantaka, Uthaya Kumar, was a Chola Emperor who ruled from 971 to 985 in present-day Tamil Nadu, India. According to Tiruvalangadu plates of Rajendra Chola, Madhurantaka Uttama's reign is placed after Aditya II. The latter may have been a co-regent of Parantaka II and seems to have died before he could formally ascend the throne. Uttam Kumar Sarkar (born 1986) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Dhaka Division in Bangladeshi domestic cricket. During the 2005–06 season, he also played for Security Express in the Corporate League and Kalabagan in the Premier League for clubs. Sarkar has also played for the Bangladesh Cricket Control Board Academy in Pakistan, and was selected for a Bangladesh "B team" of 13 for practice matches ahead of the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy.
