Uttam Ravji Gada (1948 – 6 June 2020) was an Indian Gujarati and Hindi play and movie story, screenplay and dialogue writer. A chartered accountant by training, Uttam Gada found fame with his very long running play directed and enacted by Paresh Rawal called "Maharathi" which played in multiple languages and countries. He also wrote mainstream Bollywood Hindi cinema, popularly known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema, is primarily produced in Mumbai. Paresh Rawal (born 30 May 1955) is an Indian actor, comedian, film producer and politician known for his works primarily in Hindi cinema, Hindi films. He has Paresh Rawal filmography, appeared in over 240 films and is the recipient of various List of awards and nominations received by Paresh Rawal, accolades. In 1994, he won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in the films ''Woh Chokri'' and ''Sir (1993 film), Sir''.
