Utilita Energy is an electricity and gas supplier operating in the United Kingdom. Utilita began trading in 2003, specialising in pay-as-you-go metering. Utilita had over 800,000 customers, representing a 2.6% share in the domestic market. Company history Utilita Energy began trading in 2003, as a challenger to the dominant " Big Six" energy suppliers. The company's founder and Chief Executive Officer is Bill Bullen. The company specialises in prepayment (pay-as-you-go) metering. Utilita Arena Birmingham (previously known as Arena Birmingham, The Barclaycard Arena, originally as the National Indoor Arena and still commonly called The NIA) is an indoor arena and sporting venue in central Birmingham, England. It is owned by parent company the NEC Group. When it was opened in 1991, it was the largest indoor arena in the UK.
