Ursela Monn
Ursela Monn (born 2 December 1950) is a Swiss actress and singer. Career Monn is the daughter of a Swiss father and an Irish mother. From the age of 11 onward, she received ballet lessons. A year later, she attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Her first stage role was a reproduction of Fiddler on the Roof. There, she collaborated with Boy Gobert of which before they concluded their drama at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg. In 1976, she retired from there. Monn's breakthrough came through the role of Rieke in the 13-part ZDF series ', based on the eponymous novel by Hans Fallada. This was followed by numerous appearances in television series and films. From 1998, Monn has played in theatres in Berlin, especially in the Renaissance Theatre, as well as in Munich and Düsseldorf. Order Of Merit Of Berlin
The Order of Merit of Berlin (german: Verdienstorden des Landes Berlin) is this highest award of the German State of Berlin. Awarded in the name of the Senate of Berlin, the order had recognized outstanding contributions to the State of Berlin since 21 July 1987. Awarded each year on 1 October, the anniversary of the Berlin Constitution, the order is limited to no more than 400 living recipients. As of 2016 the order had been awarded 431 times, to 152 women and 279 men. Design of the order The Order of Merit of Berlin is awarded in a single class. The badge of the order is a white enamel Maltese cross edged in red. In the center of the cross is a depiction of the golden crowned Coat of arms of Berlin surrounded by a gold wreath. ''Berliner Weisse mit Schuss'' is a television series of the ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) that was produced from 1984 to 1995. Each episode consisted of several self-contained stories in which Günter Pfitzmann took a starring role. Special emphasis was placed on the regional character of Berlin and all episodes (with exception of a holiday episode) took place in Berlin and many characters even spoke with a Berlin accent. Plot The episodes were designed to be entertaining and told from the perspective of the "little people" and oftentimes ended with a final punch that demonstrated strong values.
