was a Japanese special effects director, filmmaker, and cinematographer. A co-creator of the ''Godzilla (franchise), Godzilla'' and ''Ultraman'' franchises, he is considered one of the most important and influential figures in the history of cinema. Bin Furuya
, known professionally as , is a Japanese actor best known for his portrayal of the title character in the 1966 series ''Ultraman''. Furuya would later portray the character Amagi in the sequel series ''Ultraseven''. ''WoO'' was one of many unused ideas created by Eiji Tsuburaya as story connecting to the show ''Ultra Q''. The story revolves around a living creature which came from a comet named WoO; in the series, WoO is befriended by a young girl named Ai; both are chased by a mysterious organization called ''SWORD'' who sees WoO as a threat to humanity.
