Return Of Ultraman
is a List of Japanese television series, Japanese ''tokusatsu'' Science fiction on television, science fiction television series produced by Tsuburaya Productions. The third entry (fourth overall) in the Ultra series, the series aired on TBS Television (Japan), Tokyo Broadcasting System from April 2, 1971, to March 31, 1972. It became successful enough to inspire a second "''Kaiju'' Boom" in Japan, with rival studios producing their own ''tokusatsu'' shows and Tsuburaya Productions producing additional Ultraman shows annually for the next three years. Prior to the series' release, ''Ultra Q'', ''Ultraman (1966 TV series), Ultraman'', and ''Ultraseven'' were stand-alone titles however, ''Return of Ultraman'' is the first installment to unite the first three shows into an interconnected universe. Kenji Sahara
Kenji Sahara (佐原 健二 ''Sahara Kenji'') (born 14 May 1932) is a Japanese actor. He was born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa. His birth name is Masayoshi Kato (加藤 正好 ''Katō Masayoshi''). Initially he used the name Tadashi Ishihara before changing it when he secured the lead role in '' Rodan'' (1956). Susumu Fujita
was a Japanese film and television actor. He played the lead role in Akira Kurosawa's first feature, '' Sanshiro Sugata'', and appeared in other Kurosawa films including '' The Men Who Tread On the Tiger's Tail'' (as Togashi, commander of the border guards) and '' The Hidden Fortress'' (as General Tadokoro). Ultraman Jack (character)
is the protagonist of the 1971–1972 ''tokusatsu'' Ultra Series, ''Return of Ultraman''. Ultraman (character)
is a superhero who debuted in the pilot episode to his Ultraman (1966 TV series), 1966 TV series of the same name, entitled "Ultraman". He is the first ''tokusatsu'' hero launched by the ''Ultraman, Ultra Series'' and by extension, Tsuburaya Productions.
